Men's Leather Vintage Messenger Bag

Many men may have reservations about carrying a men's leather vintage messenger bag because they may feel like it could resemble a female handbag. It certainly is not a handbag! Let me start by saying that the men's leather messenger bag has been around for very long time. It was born out of a need for messengers and couriers to comfortably transport large amounts of cargo while being able to easily access its contents. The same principle holds today. I don't know about you, but I know that I, along with many other men, have things to travel with on a daily basis. Whether it is my iPod, newspaper, a copy of Twilight (Yes, I am secure enough to read and enjoy Twilight), keys, or even half of my chicken salad sandwich that I had for lunch, it makes life easier if I have a safe place to stash my items. The men's leather messenger bag should not be scoffed at as it is a timeless accessory that has transcended the very fickle nature of style. In fact, it has become even more stylish now. Just visit any major city, such as New York, and you will see men hitting the streets with their messenger bags. So my fellow men, do not be afraid! You should obviously question the setting that this bag will mostly be carried into. It may not be the most appropriate thing to step into a boardroom meeting sporting an Ed Hardy messenger bag with decorative tattoo influenced artwork all over it. It may not really send the right message. With that said, there are many brown messenger bags on the market that exude professionalism or that can easily make the transition from the work environment to the casual world. The vintage messenger bag also makes a perfect companion for students. It can help to keep your precious items such as papers and personal electronics safe from the elements. Leather coupled with an inner lining does a wonderful job of keeping water from penetrating it.
