The truth is out there

The truth is out there

I have never been a big TV watcher because most television shows are mind numbing. Fringe dvd is just the opposite. It makes me think and that is what I love about it! I remember a couple of years ago watching one or two episodes of the Fringe when I was in college. The show seemed interesting but I was so busy with school and work that I never had the opportunity to sit down and watch The Fringe or any show on a consistent basis. Then I got Amazon prime...my wife and I started watching the Fringe about a week ago and we are almost done with the second season! I love the characters and the acting! I also enjoy the fact that this show takes me away from reality and lets me use my imagination, unlike the reality TV shows that seem to be everywhere. The Fringe is dramatic but doesn't take itself too seriously. The storyline is deep. Each episode can be understood as a story that stands alone while containing and moving us through elements of an overarching story. Each episode leaves you asking questions but you get enough answers that you don't get frustrated. I wish the last season wasn't upon us. I rarely find a fringe TV show that draws me in like this. Most the negative reviews I read were from people who didn't watch more than an episode or two. If you give the show a chance you will get hooked!
