For the money, this is an excellent ipad 2 case . My friends who bought the Apple smartcover agree that this is much more substantial and protective. The stand is good, too. Whereas it does add bulk to the ipad 2, it is worth it, as when you carry it around, you have a much greater sense of confidence it won't get damaged. The ipad 2 case encompasses the entire ipad, but there are holes for the volume controls, the ac plug and the camera. Definitely worth the money.
